Number One Killer Of People Worldwide, Dealt A Lethal Blow By Adult Stem Cells
Have you or anyone you know survived a heart attack? It has been accepted medical fact, once a heart has been damaged, the tissue in the area of the attack will forever remain dead tissue, never to be renewed or rejuvenated. Thankfully, for millions of people worldwide, that information is no longer correct as hundreds of "no option" patients are actually experiencing heart restoration in the ongoing FDA heart failure trial.
Cardiovascular researcher/author, Christian Wilde, convinced that the remedy for 22M people currently dying of congestive heart failure worldwide would ultimately come from stem cell research, began monitoring and documenting patient successes in ongoing FDA trials. Directing the FDA trials and contributing to the author's information are the directors of cardiovascular stem cell therapy at Minnesota, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, UCSD, Pittsburgh, Arizona Heart Institute and Cedars Sinai, LA. In the study "no option heart failure patients" transition from near death to recovery following a one-time minimally invasive procedure using the patient's own stem cells.
As the book's author has said on George Noory's international Coast to Coast AM radio show (four visits) to an estimated 64M listeners, "My mandate was to accurately report on whether a cure for five million Americans might appear to be coming from embryonic or non-embryonic research. When it comes to conquering the number-one killer of people worldwide, the remedy should be dictated by science and not by politics or religion."
With the hundreds of patients already benefiting from a procedure using the patient's own bone marrow or thigh muscle stem cells, it is looking very much like adult stem cell therapy may be the answer for heart failure with it's 1-7 year life expectancy.
Among the many findings that have emerged from the trial are two in particular that should be welcome news for millions of families. One, the procedure works on hearts damaged from heart attacks that happened even 20 to 25 years earlier. Secondly, the procedure works on patients who have had multiple heart attacks and for those who may currently have an installed pacemaker or defibrillator. The FDA, convinced of the safety and clinical results of the first trial phase, has just approved the enrollment of 450 more patients. Time is critical, as one-half the heart failure patients will not survive five years.
SPINAL INJURY BREAKTHROUGH
Scientist, neurologist, Dr. Carlos Lima, in speaking before the British Parliament in London, England, reminded all in attendance that even though there have been limits on embryonic research in America and the UK, research has for many years continued unfettered in countries all over the world. To date however, there has still not been a successful ESC treatment reported in China, Russia or anywhere else, at least at this time. In contrast, the treatments for catastrophic diseases, we were told would only come from embryonic research, are instead coming almost daily from adult stem cell research. Dr. Lima has over 100 spinal injury patients walking or re-learning to walk following stem cell harvesting and injection to the area of spinal lesion. These adult cells are harvested from the patient's own olfactory sinus bulbs located in the high regions of the facial sinus cavities. It is reported that there is a 75% improvement among patients. As Dr. Lima explains, healing the spinal injury is half of the therapy. There is extensive and intensive physical rehabilitation following the procedure as the connections between nerves and muscles must be retrained. Today, there are patients who are walking following the procedure and others beginning to walk. Their individual stories are inspiring.
DIABETES
Type I diabetes patients in London have gone insulin free for three years following adult cell bone marrow transplant to their pancreas. Type II patients in Argentina and Brazil show similar results. Diabetes currently contributes to 200,000 deaths a year in this country and brings an associated cost to the healthcare system of $132 billion yearly.
CORNEAL BLINDNESS
The Cincinnati Eye Clinic has restored vision in an average of eight patients per month and in India it is reported that more than 460 patients have gained or regained their sight using donor cells from a relative.
With more than 1,500 trials now in progress and successful treatment reported for more than 72 diseases, including several types of cancer using adult stem cell therapy, this is an exciting time in medicine for all of mankind. Whether the cures come from embryonic or non-embryonic research, in the short term adult stem cells have taken the lead.
